Terms of Use
The terms on which ConsultZone publishes this website and on which you may read it.
This page sets out the terms on which ConsultZone publishes consultzone.ae and on which you may read it. It is written to be read, which is unusual for the genre and deliberate. A clause nobody can parse protects nobody, and a site that buries its terms has told its readers nothing about how it expects to be dealt with.
Using this website means you accept what follows. If you do not accept it, stop using the site. That is the whole of the remedy, and nothing further is owed on either side.
These terms were last reviewed on the date shown with this page. That date is the only notice you will get when they change, which is a reason to look at it.
ConsultZone operates this site, and there is a person behind it
This website is published and operated by ConsultZone, a business setup and corporate services consultancy working from International Business Tower, Office 1710, Al Amal Street, Business Bay, Dubai. Both direct lines are +971 56 411 0920 and +971 56 515 5115, and the email address is info@consultzone.ae.
Throughout this page, we, us and our mean ConsultZone. You means anyone who opens a page on this site — a prospective client, an existing client, a competitor, a journalist, or an automated agent acting on someone's behalf. This site means consultzone.ae and every page published under it.
Office hours are 9:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, and they are printed in the footer of every page. What is committed to beyond that is a response of one business day, from a consultant rather than a queue — the same commitment printed in the footer of every page on this site. Contact ConsultZone sets out what each channel is good for and what to do on a day that commitment is not met.
Anything on this site that is wrong is worth telling us about. Send the page and the correction to info@consultzone.ae. We will fix it and date the fix. That is the one message we would rather receive than an enquiry.
Reading a page here does not make us your consultant
Everything published on this site is general information about how UAE company formation, licensing, immigration, tax and corporate compliance work. It is not legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, investment advice or immigration advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them.
That is not throat-clearing before the real page. It has three concrete consequences.
No advisory relationship is created by reading. A consultant-client relationship with ConsultZone begins when the firm accepts an engagement in writing, and not before. Reading twenty pages here, sending an enquiry, receiving a first reply, or speaking to someone on the phone does not start one.
Nothing here was written about your company. Every page is written for a general reader whose activity, customers, ownership chain, residence position and deadline are all unknown. Those are precisely the facts that decide the answer on any real file — About ConsultZone sets out the order in which they are established and what reversing that order produces — so a page that does not know them cannot be your answer, however detailed it is.
Some questions are outside what any consultancy may answer at all. Formal representation before the Federal Tax Authority requires an accredited Tax Agent listed by the FTA. A legal opinion, a court filing or a dispute requires a UAE-licensed advocate. This site says so on the pages where it matters, and it says so here.
If you act on something published on this site without taking advice on your own circumstances, you do that on your own judgement.
The rules described on this site change, and one of them changed backwards
UAE company law, tax law and licensing practice are revised regularly, and the revisions are not always forward-looking. The clearest example is already published on this site: the economic substance regime was confined by Cabinet Decision No. 98 of 2024 to financial years ending on or before 31 December 2022, retiring an annual obligation that firms in this market had been billing for — retrospectively.
Three things follow, and they apply to every page here.
Each page carries the date it was last reviewed. A regulatory page without a date is asking to be trusted indefinitely, and no page about UAE compliance has earned that.
Each page names the authority behind its claims — the instrument, the ministry, the incorporating authority or the free zone — so you can go to the primary source instead of taking our summary of it.
The authority's own page prevails over ours. Where this site and a government source disagree, the government source is right and we are out of date. Government and authority fees in particular are revised without notice, which is why cost figures here are published as labelled ranges rather than as precise numbers that would be wrong by the time you read them.
No figure on this site is a quote, and no page here is an offer
Cost figures published anywhere on this site are indicative. They describe what a cost component usually runs to. They do not describe what your file will cost, and they are not held open for any period.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no page, table, comparison or form creates a contract between you and ConsultZone. A price becomes ours to stand behind only when it is issued to you as a written quote or proposal identifying your specific matter — and when it is, the authority's fee and our fee appear on separate lines, with the year-two cost set beside the year-one cost.
Equally, nothing published here is a guarantee. Approvals sit with incorporating authorities and regulators, attestation runs at the pace of an embassy, and a bank account sits with a bank's compliance committee. No page on this site promises any of the three, and no reading of any page should be taken as one.
The words and the structure of this site are ours; the authority names in it are not
What belongs to ConsultZone. The text, the page structures, the tables and comparison matrices, the diagrams, the selection and treatment of photography, the stylesheets and the underlying theme code of this site are ConsultZone's property or are used by ConsultZone under licence, and are protected by UAE copyright law and by the international conventions the UAE is party to. The ConsultZone name, the group names Consulthome and Finvisors, and the site's logo and visual identity are ours.
What does not belong to ConsultZone. The names, marks and emblems of ministries, government bodies, free zone authorities and regulators appear on this site to identify the authority being written about. They remain the property of those authorities. Their appearance identifies a subject; it does not indicate that any authority has reviewed, approved or endorsed this site or this firm. Any other third-party name on the site — a bank, a software product, a linked publication — belongs to its owner in the same way.
Reading is unrestricted; wholesale reuse is not
The restriction that matters here is on republishing and extraction, not on reading. Nothing below limits what you may do with a page for your own purposes.
Permission beyond that is available and is not usually refused. Write to info@consultzone.ae saying what you want to reproduce and where it will appear.
Some uses of this site are unacceptable, and a few are unlawful
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reach any part of this site, its server or its database that is not published to the public, or to probe, scan or test its security.
- Interfere with the site's operation — including by submitting its forms automatically, at volume, or in any way that degrades service for other readers.
- Introduce anything malicious: a virus, a script, or code intended to damage, disable or take control of the site or another reader's device.
- Submit material through any form on this site that is unlawful, deliberately false, defamatory, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
- Impersonate another person or organisation in an enquiry, or misstate who you are or on whose behalf you are writing. This is a supervised firm with anti-money-laundering obligations; who you say you are matters here more than it does on most websites.
- Use the consultation form to send unsolicited commercial offers. Pitches for software, advertising, search marketing or lead generation belong at info@consultzone.ae, and keeping them out of the consultation route is what keeps a one-business-day commitment worth making.
- Use anything obtained from this site to solicit our readers, or to misrepresent your relationship with this firm.
Several of these are not only breaches of these terms. Unauthorised access to an information system, interference with one, and certain uses of another person's identity are offences under UAE federal law on cybercrime, and conduct that appears to cross that line will be reported rather than absorbed.
A link out of this site is a pointer, not an endorsement
This site links outward constantly and on purpose. Close to every claim on it points at the ministry, authority, incorporating authority or free zone standing behind that claim, because something you can check is worth more than something you have to accept.
Those destinations are not ours. We do not control them, we do not review them continuously, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their availability, or how they handle your data. Once you follow a link out, the terms and the privacy policy of the destination apply, and ours do not.
Two cases are worth naming specifically. Government pages move, and a link from this site to an authority page that no longer resolves is a fault on our side — send it to info@consultzone.ae and it gets fixed. And finvisors.ae is a separate website operated by the group's tax and financial advisory practice: what this site publishes about tax is a summary, the specialist site carries the depth, and it carries its own terms.
The site also embeds or links to third-party services — a map, a messaging link, social profiles. Using any of them takes you into somebody else's product, on their terms rather than these.
An enquiry is stored here first, and the Privacy Policy governs the rest
The Privacy Policy is the document that governs personal data on this site. What follows describes how an enquiry moves through the site, because that belongs in terms of use. How personal data is collected, used, retained, transferred and deleted belongs there, and is not repeated here. Where the two documents differ on any question of data handling, the Privacy Policy is the one to read.
The consultation form asks for a short list: your name, a phone number, an email address, where you are based, what you need, the activity you have in mind, and a free-text box. The submitting device's IP address and browser identification are recorded against the submission. The form has no file upload, by design — a first enquiry should not be moving documents around.
When you submit it, the record is written to this site's own database first and unconditionally, then emailed to the advisory team, then passed to the customer relationship system. That order is the reverse of the common arrangement, and deliberately so: posting a form straight to a third-party service and keeping nothing locally turns an outage at that service into an enquiry that never existed and a founder who believes they were ignored.
Three commitments follow, and you can hold us to all three.
Enquiry data is not sold, and it is not passed to third parties for marketing.
Do not send identity documents with a first enquiry. We will ask for passports, proof of address and the ownership chain up to the natural persons who ultimately control a company when there is something to file — corporate service provision is a supervised activity in the UAE and those questions are a legal duty rather than a service standard we selected. None of it belongs in a first message to a firm you have not yet chosen.
Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless it has become a record we are required to keep under the anti-money-laundering rules that apply to us — in which case we will tell you that is why, rather than quietly keeping it.
Anything you send that is not personal data and not confidential — a correction, a suggestion, an observation about a page — we may act on and use without owing you anything for it. Do not send confidential or commercially sensitive material through a public form on any website, this one included.
We stand behind the sourcing, not behind your decision
This site is researched against primary sources, dated, and corrected when it is wrong. That is a real standard and it is the one the content is held to. What follows is where it stops.
We do not warrant that this site is complete, current or free of error. Rules change, pages are reviewed on a cycle rather than continuously, and a summary of a regulation is a summary of it.
We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or free of anything harmful, though reasonable measures are taken on both.
To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies, ConsultZone is not liable for loss or damage arising out of your use of this site or out of reliance on anything published here — including lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data, expenditure incurred in reliance on an indicative figure, or a decision taken about a company, a jurisdiction or a tax position on the strength of a general page.
Three qualifications, and they matter as much as the sentence above.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a limitation in this section reaches further than the applicable law permits, it is read down to what is permitted rather than treated as removing the protection the law gives you.
This section is about the website. Liability arising from work ConsultZone actually performs for a client is dealt with in the engagement document for that work. This page does not touch it and does not narrow it.
And none of this is a way of saying that what is published here does not matter. It is a statement of where the boundary sits between a page written for everybody and advice written about your file. The way across that boundary is to give us the facts of your matter and get an answer that addresses them.
Where these terms are not the document that governs you
Most legal pages stop without saying when they do not apply. These are the situations where this is the wrong document to be reading.
If you have an engagement letter, proposal or service agreement with ConsultZone, that document governs the work and prevails over this page wherever the two touch. These terms cover the website.
If you are on finvisors.ae, or on a free zone authority's own portal, you are on somebody else's site under somebody else's terms. Nothing here extends to an authority's platform or to a separate business within the group.
If your question is about personal data — what is held, why, for how long, and how to have it corrected or removed — the Privacy Policy governs and this page does not.
If you need a legal opinion on any of this, you need a UAE-licensed advocate. This page was written by the firm that publishes the site, about the site. It is a statement of terms, not advice on your rights.
If you are an employee, a supplier or a job applicant, your relationship with the firm sits in a different document and this one says nothing about it.
Access can be restricted, and a clause that fails does not take the rest with it
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this site at any time, and we may restrict access from a source abusing it — automated extraction at volume, attempted access to a non-public part, or repeated misuse of the forms. Restricting access in those circumstances is not a penalty and does not require notice.
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the rest continues in force. If we do not enforce a right on one occasion, that is not a waiver of it on another. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another entity within the group, and your position under them is unaffected by that. Together with the Privacy Policy, this page is the whole of the agreement between us about your use of this website, and it replaces anything published or said about that subject before it.
UAE law governs this page, and a UAE court decides a dispute about it
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or out of your use of this site — including a non-contractual one — are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
Any such dispute falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates. If an Arabic version of these terms is issued, it prevails over the English text to the extent of any conflict between them.
This site is published from the UAE and is about the UAE. Nothing on it is an offer or a solicitation in any country where making one would be unlawful, and if you are reading from elsewhere, whether your own law permits you to act on what you read is your responsibility rather than ours.
This page changes without an announcement, and the date is the notice
These terms may be revised. When they are, the revised version replaces this one on this page, takes effect from the moment it is published, and the review date changes with it. There is no individual notification, so check that date before relying on this page for anything.
Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the version then published. If a change is one you cannot accept, the answer is the same as it was at the top of this page: stop using the site.

Frequently asked questions about these terms
Does reading this site make ConsultZone my consultant?
No. A consultant-client relationship with ConsultZone begins when the firm accepts an engagement in writing, and not before. Reading twenty pages here, sending an enquiry, receiving a first reply or speaking to someone on the phone does not start one. Nothing published here was written about your company: every page is written for a general reader whose activity, customers, ownership chain, residence position and deadline are all unknown.
Are the cost figures on this site quotes?
No. They are indicative. They describe what a cost component usually runs to, they do not describe what your file will cost, and they are not held open for any period. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. A price becomes ours to stand behind only when it is issued to you as a written quote or proposal identifying your specific matter, and when it is, the authority's fee and our fee appear on separate lines, with the year-two cost set beside the year-one cost.
May I quote a page, or republish one?
Quote a short passage with attribution to ConsultZone and a link to the page it came from, yes. So is reading, printing or saving a page for your own use or your organisation's, sending one to a client, a colleague or an adviser, and sharing a link to any page here without asking. What is not permitted is republishing a page or a substantial part of one elsewhere, presenting this site's research, tables or structure as your own work, selling access to it, framing a page inside another site or stripping its branding, review dates or sourcing, and copying the theme, its templates or its stylesheets. Permission beyond that is available and is not usually refused: write to info@consultzone.ae saying what you want to reproduce and where it will appear.
May I extract the site automatically, or use it to train a model?
No. Systematic extraction by automated means, including harvesting the site to build or train another product or model, sits outside what these terms permit, as does submitting the site's forms automatically or at volume. Access from a source abusing the site in those ways may be restricted, and restricting it in those circumstances is not a penalty and does not require notice.
Which law governs these terms, and which court decides a dispute?
The laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates. If an Arabic version of these terms is issued, it prevails over the English text to the extent of any conflict. Two questions sit outside this page: personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, and work the firm actually performs for a client is governed by the engagement document for that work.
